Greater flexibility with a new digital working environment
Growth requires modernisation
Since its founding in 2010, WBJV has experienced considerable growth, in size but also in professionalism. That requires something of your organisation as well as your IT environment. To meet the needs of the “new world”, a modern IT environment was needed. WBJV therefore started looking for an IT service provider that could provide the organisation with this. Previder was chosen mainly due to its extensive experience in the healthcare sector.

WBJV offers various forms of sheltered housing, (residential) support and treatment. Young people aged 16 to 26 receive professional guidance towards independence and self-reliance. This takes place at 24-hour locations, in small-scale modular residential facilities or through ambulatory supervision. WBJV has 11 locations (including 9 residential locations) in various towns in Twente.
Offer employees flexibility
WBJV's 60 or so employees work at different locations and also change locations regularly. A solution that offers flexibility to the employee was necessary, says managing director Marlein Weener. ‘Our employees need to be able to access both their own and client data quickly and easily from anywhere.’ Eric Schut, account manager on behalf of Previder, says: "We presented WBJV with several healthcare workplace concepts to determine what would best fit the need. We had good discussions about this together and eventually arrived at a digital workplace based on Microsoft Office 365 services. Because WBJV already purchased all applications web-based, the traditional working environment could be abandoned at once. In the new situation, employees no longer log in to a traditional desktop but to an online portal that gives them access to the applications and data they need." Marlein Weener adds: "Previder's new set-up makes it possible to access all data with a single login. That has really proved to be an added value."

Management and support
In addition to providing the digital workplace, Previder now acts as WBJV's IT department. The workstations and peripherals are managed on a secondment basis, and Previder specialists are regularly present on the shop floor to provide any desired support. Prior to commissioning, Previder instructed a number of key users on how to use the new work environment, so that these employees could in turn coach and support their colleagues in this.
Pleasant cooperation
Marlein Weener is enthusiastic about the cooperation with Previder. "We find it very pleasant. We have fixed points of contact who are always available and we were given the time to try out the new working environment extensively before it was rolled out throughout the organisation. Previder came up with good suggestions from their own experience, which we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. That, combined with our own wishes and ideas, led to a very practical, efficient but also beautiful working environment, which is accessible to everyone."
Result over speed
Eric Schut also looks back on the op project with pleasure. "The nice thing was that it was not under great time pressure. WBJV was particularly committed to a good result. Together, we were able to take the time to look very carefully at the layout of the new working environment and to test whether what we came up with actually worked as desired. With this project, we have completed a kind of first phase. In the coming period, we will focus on optimising the existing network environment and telephony solution."
