Improving care with a Well-Managed Care Network

As in most sectors, healthcare is undergoing a digital transformation. Against this background, we at Previder Zorg consider it a mission to improve healthcare with IT. The status of Goed Beheer Zorgnetwerk (GZN) is one of these, and this places Previder Zorg among a select group of Dutch network providers.

What does a Goed Beheerd Zorgnetwerk do?

As a Well-Managed Care Network, we provide good and safe communication between your healthcare information system (XIS) and the National Switch Point (LSP).

How do you become a Well-Managed Care Network?

Network providers can get approved as a GZN by meeting the strict requirements of the VZVZ (Association of Healthcare Providers for Healthcare Communication). These requirements cover security, system management, quality of service and network connectivity.

Why is this Goed Beheerd Zorgnetwerk status so important to you?

If, as a healthcare provider, you want to offer your patients/clients a PBM, you must have a connection to LSP+. This extension to the LSP links healthcare providers with MedMij. And MedMij in turn ensures that the data are visible in the selected PBM. If you want to work with LSP+, you are legally obliged to use a well-managed healthcare network.

What else do you need besides a Well-Managed Care Network?

To work with LSP+, you obviously need to already be connected to the LSP. Furthermore, you must use a healthcare information system that supports LSP+. We are then talking about a Well-Managed Care System (GBZ).

For peace of mind

In addition to the Goed Beheerd Zorgnetwerk status, Previder Zorg also has NEN 7510 certification, specifically for information security in healthcare. This gives you extra security that your data is always safely stored and accessed via us.
