Password policy

When you want to change your password, you need to take into account the password policy. A password policy is in place to prevent misuse of your Workplace Online account:

1. The password should consist of at least eight characters

2. The password must contain at least characters from three of the following four categories: Uppercase letters (A-Z), lowercase letters (a-z), numbers (0-9) and/or other symbols (such as !,$,#,%).

3. The password must not match your first, last and/or username

4. The minimum duration of a password is one day. So the password cannot be changed twice in one day

5. The twenty-four previous passwords are remembered and cannot be used as a new password

6. The maximum duration of a password is three months. If you generate a password that does not meet the conditions, you cannot complete the process.

After five failed login attempts, the account will be locked for 30 minutes. If you want to have the account unlocked, please contact the Service Desk on 088 - 332 33 55, option 1.
