Logging in as an end customer via the Cloud Management Console

In most cases, end customers do not need to access the Cloud Management Console. However, some customers take out multiple IASO accounts that they want to monitor centrally. For example, to check whether backups are running successfully. In such cases, it is possible to allow end customers to log into the Cloud Management Console. However, this requires partner intervention.

First of all, the partner needs to log into the Cloud Management Console.

On the left-hand side of the screen, you will see the partner's account at the top with its end customers under the blue figure. When you select one of these customers, you will see all the devices they purchase on the right. You will also see a “Partner name”. You should make a note of this. Then go to “Partners” -> “Users” at the top.

Here you see an overview of all users created under this end customer. The user “root” is default and should not be deleted. In this screen, click “Add user”.

In this screen, you can indicate under “Role” which rights the user in question should have.

Next, enter a user name and password and click “Save”.

Next, log in as the newly created user via “Actions” -> “Connect” -> “New Login”.

Then, under “Partner”, enter the name of the end customer you noted earlier. Below that, enter the username and password you just created and click “Save and connect”. The customer can then use this account to log into the Cloud Management Console.
