Reg folder takes up a lot of space

IASO creates a local database file in a folder named “reg”. It can be found in the following location:

• C:\\Documents and Settings\\All Users\\Application Data\\IASO\\Backup Manager\\storage\\CONTRACTNAAM (Windows XP, 2003).
• C:\\ProgramData\\IASO\\Backup Manager\\storage\\CONTRACTNAAM (Windows 7, Vista, 2008).

In some cases, this folder takes up several GBs. This folder is essential for the proper functioning of IASO but is relocatable in the following way:

• Stop the "Backup Service Controller".
• Create a new folder on the disk where you want this folder to be.
• Move the “reg” folder to the location just created.
• Open the config.ini file, which can be found under: C:Program FilesBackup Manager
• Add the following lines to it: PathToLocalStorage=[PATH NEW LOCATION]
• Save the file.
• Start the "Backup Service Controller".
