Backup Manager does not start
Sometimes it happens that the Backup Manager cannot be started. In the task manager, the process ‘BackupManager.exe’ is running but the client does not visibly start up. There are a number of possible solutions for this problem:
Solution 1: Disable client -> Stop the ‘Backup Service Controller’ -> Start client. At this point, the client retrieves the backup connection again.
Solution 2: Go to C:³‘Backup Manager’ (hidden folder). Rename ‘Backup Manager’. The moment you start the client, a new folder will be created when you start the application with the new server data. NOTE: The login details and encryption key may be required. The path to the hidden folder is different within XP; C:Documents and Settings Users Application Data
Solution 3: Uninstall Client completely and re-download www.iaso.com and reinstall. NOTE: The login credentials and encryption code are required.
