Rackspace in the Previder Datacenter
At Previder, you can rent server space in a 19" rack in one of the data rooms at our Previder data centres. Our rack space is rented out including power connection, but excluding power consumption. You purchase a certain amount of power consumption in advance, but the actual consumption is charged in kWh afterwards. If you opt for Shared Rackspace, you will be charged a fixed amount per month. Take a look at these two options below.
De voordelen
Dedicated Rackspace consists of a whole rack that is lockable on two sides and exclusively reserved for one customer. In some data rooms, a ¼ or ½ compartment in a whole rack is also available.
With Shared Rackspace, an entire rack is shared with other customers and space can be purchased per Height Unit (1 HE=ca. 4.5 cm), starting from 1 HE.
Types of rackspace
We offer our rackspace in two options, with a minimum contract term of one year: Dedicated Rackspace and Shared Rackspace. For Shared Rackspace, a fixed monthly fee is charged. Included in the service are: rack space, power connection, power consumption, 24/7 access for people on the secure access list, use of facility facilities and an SLA.
Rackspace in one of our data centres
The locations of our data centres in Hengelo (PDC1 and PDC2) are geographically separate. They are interconnected via a fibre-optic ring. We also have two more data centres in the south of the Netherlands. Each Previder data centre has a number of data rooms. The total floor area is 13,000 m2. Enough server space for rack space in the Netherlands. Rackspace in one of our data centres has many advantages over rackspace in Amsterdam. Rackspace & server space rental
The depth of a rack is 100cm, the width 60cm. An entire rack is 46 Height Units (HE) high, equivalent to 207cm.
