Preliminary situation at Twenthe Plant

Previously, customers could only order by walking around the premises filling in paper order lists. Processing these was labour-intensive, slowed down the process and was also error-prone. Karselius: "We wanted to modernise this process by developing an ordering app. "The option to achieve this via mobile internet and a cloud solution was considered, but proved unsuitable. "In particular, from a security point of view, we opted for our own WiFi network on site," Karselius explains. "Moreover, not every foreign customer has 4G on their phone and using mobile internet in the Netherlands costs them relatively a lot of money. Moreover, we wanted to offer our customers extra service with free WiFi."

Professional solution

Twenthe Plant has been working with Previder for more than 20 years, providing domain and mail management, as well as fibre-optic connections to the data centre and the various branches, among other things. Looking for a suitable wireless network solution for Twenthe Plant, Karselius looked at various systems and spoke to a number of small IT service providers besides Previder. It soon became clear that fully outsourcing the construction and management of the WiFi network was the best choice. Karselius: "We were looking for a good, professional WiFi as a Service solution, and Previder made us a proposal that was an excellent fit. Our long-standing relationship was ultimately decisive in the choice. We have been using their services with 24/7 support to our satisfaction for years. You grant something to such a good partner.
