The search for a full IT partner

Marco Huigen, Head of Administration at Hyperbaric Medicine Centre, is responsible for accounting and also has IT in his portfolio. "I got into that because I have a lot of affinity with IT and software. Before Previder came into the picture, we employed a freelancer who did some networking. We weren't satisfied with that, because our network regularly failed and we often had faults. These were sometimes resolved, but often not. So it was time for IT professionalisation."

Choice of Previder

The search for a full-fledged IT partner was launched. "We were keen to house all IT with one party and, in particular, to strike a blow in terms of security and stability. The AVG legislation was coming and that was reason for us to take a hard look at the entire IT environment. In addition, we had implemented a new electronic patient record from TIMEFF. They advised us to go with Previder. The fact that Previder meets all the important healthcare certifications in terms of security was the deciding factor."

Hyperbaar Geneeskundig Centrum now has Werkplek Online; Previder's flexible working environment in which business-critical applications are integrated and linked. Via the home page, HGC Rijswijk employees can access the full Office 365 package and TIMEFF's electronic patient file. Huigen: "We can easily take our workplace wherever we want. This is very nice, as we have a lot of internal flex places. Our doctors shoot from top to bottom and from left to right in our building. They can now easily grab their laptop or tablet and continue working wherever they want."
