We have received many requests to make the billing of Microsoft NCE and CSP licences more transparent. Therefore, we have changed the billing method with effect from June 2024. For the presentation of the invoice, we have adopted Microsoft's method. As a result, the invoice now clearly states which licences you have purchased, with the exact number and period to which they relate. From now on, you will no longer receive paper invoices with entries such as “more or less consumption”.

If no licence changes are made in the month, the invoice line for that licence will look like this:

The term is then the whole month in which the licence was taken.

When licence changes do occur, the invoice lines of that licence look like this:

In the example above, you can see three lines. The first line shows the number of licences the period started with. On 10-04, a licence was added and charged for the rest of the current period. You can see this on the second line. The “old” number is credited on the bottom line for the same period.

So in this example, you pay for 75 licences from 06-04-2024 from 05-05-2024 and for 76 licences for the period from 10-04-2024 from 05-05-2024.
