Previder has completed its NIS2 registration with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). This step is important in light of the upcoming Cybersecurity Act (Cbw), which is expected to take effect in the third quarter of 2025.

Need for NIS2 registration in connection with the Cyber Security Act

The NIS2 directive aims to strengthen the digital resilience of essential and key services within the EU. In the Netherlands, this directive is implemented through the Cyberbeveiligingswet (Cbw). Although the Cbw will therefore not come into force until later, it is essential for organisations covered by the NIS2 directive to register with the NCSC in good time. This registration contributes to a better overview of digital resilience and facilitates effective incident response and information sharing.

With NIS2 registration with the NSCS and preparation for the entry into force of the Cbw, among other things, Previder offers its customers important benefits:

  1. Better security through quick access to up-to-date threat information.
  2. Rapid incident resolution with minimal impact on business operations.
  3. Confidence and security through compliance with strict security standards.
  4. Compliance with legislation and reduced risk of fines.
  5. Secure and innovative IT solutions.
  6. Access to up-to-date cybersecurity knowledge via Previder's network.
  7. Continuity of services through proactive risk management.

In short: more safety, reliability and business security.

The NIS2 registration is an important step in strengthening the digital resilience of our organisation and our customers. It makes us more agile in responding to threats and ensures that we can proactively manage risks. This registration is not just a compliance obligation, but an investment in the future-proofing of our services.
