Previder expands into the UK with acquisition of Wanstor
Previder is taking the next step in its international growth with the acquisition of Wanstor, a UK managed IT services provider with offices in London and engineers located across the country. With this acquisition, Previder, part of Odin Group, expands its presence into the UK, alongside the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
Founded in 2002, Wanstor helps organisations use technology to make their operations more agile, secure and efficient. The company employs approximately 200 people and provides a comprehensive range of IT services, combining a 24/7 service desk with specialist expertise across cybersecurity, cloud, data and AI, and the modern workplace.
Wanstor’s services and vision align closely with Previder’s strategic direction. The UK organisation focuses on three key areas: delivering an excellent user experience, enabling the responsible adoption of AI, and maintaining a strong focus on security and digital resilience.
Further international growth
The acquisition supports Previder’s ambition to continue growing across North-West Europe. Following its expansion in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, the group is now extending its operations into the UK. This creates a broader international platform for sharing knowledge and expertise and enables Previder to support customers across borders, with local teams that remain close to their customers.
Wanstor’s established UK presence, local expertise and customer relationships provide a strong foundation for that expansion while maintaining the local delivery model that customers value.
Arno Witvliet, CEO of Odin Group:
“With Wanstor, we are adding a strong organisation whose services and vision are closely aligned with Previder. We share the belief that technology creates real value when organisations can use it securely, reliably and with a clear purpose. Wanstor’s presence and expertise provide us with a strong foundation in the UK and create significant opportunities for us to grow together.”
Joining Previder also creates new opportunities for Wanstor’s continued development and growth.
Francesca White, CEO of Wanstor:
“Joining Previder marks an exciting next step for Wanstor. We will retain the local commitment and customer intimacy that define our organisation, while gaining access to a broader pool of knowledge, capacity and expertise across the group. This gives us a stronger foundation to develop our services and help customers respond to evolving technology, security and operational need.”
Manmit Rai, COO of Wanstor:
“Joining Previder gives us the opportunity to accelerate our ambitions while staying true to what makes Wanstor successful. We will continue investing in customer experience, AI adoption, security and service innovation, while benefiting from the scale, expertise and investment that come with being part of a larger group.
We’re incredibly excited to build on what we already do well, give our people more room to grow, and help our customers get more value from the technology and services we provide.”
